At Football Zajedno, we believe in the transformative power of football. Our mission is clear – to promote social inclusion, diversity, and human rights through the universal language of the game. We aim to break down barriers, foster reconciliation, and empower individuals and cross-community work to embrace the principles of fairness and respect both on and off the field.

Our Story

Football Zajedno is a collaborative project initiated by the Football Associations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia. It is coordinated by the Austrian fairplay Initiative at the Vienna Institute for International Dialogue and Cooperation (VIDC), and it has been making a significant impact since its inception in 2016.

Recognized as a “truly unique collaboration” by UEFA, Football Zajedno has garnered praise for its innovative and creative initiatives that shine a light on intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, and cross-community work. We are dedicated to advocating for equal opportunities, bridging divides, and bringing diverse communities that were once divided together on equal playing fields.
