TRAINING THE SKILLS
Empowering Change Agents
Introduction:
In Module 1, we lay the foundation for change by educating and preparing our target groups with the knowledge and skills required to promote diversity & inclusion, human rights, and peace and reconciliation. This module is the cornerstone of our mission to create a more inclusive and united football community.
(a) FAIRPLAY TRAINING & MANUAL – for Coaches, Educators, Clubs – (2 editions), year 1, 3
Equipping Educational Multipliers
Educational multipliers, including youth coaches, teachers, youth workers, and workshop facilitators, are the heart of our initiatives. They are the change agents who will carry our message forward. To prepare them for this vital role, we organize the Fairplay Training twice during the project period.
Training Focus:
- Providing multipliers with profound knowledge and skills in social inclusion, human rights, diversity, fair play, and respect.
- Empowering them to incorporate these methods and skills into their coaching, teaching, and workshop facilitation.
Educational Manual:
To support our multipliers, we develop an educational manual. This manual contains methods, practical and theoretical background, and guidance on implementing project activities. It will be available in Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian (BCS), ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
(b) FAIRPLAY WORKSHOPS – for Kids (10-16 years) – (15 per year), year 1-4
Empowering Young Minds
Experienced workshop facilitators, alongside our trained multipliers, conduct regular youth workshops designed for participants aged 10 to 16. These workshops focus on essential topics, including social inclusion, diversity, human rights, gender equality, and identity.
Unique Approach:
- Combining football training practices with social content, our Fairplay Workshops create an engaging and holistic learning experience.
- Workshops can be conducted in schools, clubs, and NGOs, reaching young minds in various community settings.
(c) FAIRPLAY ACADEMY – for Youth (16-20 years), (1 edition), year 2
Nurturing Future Multipliers
The Fairplay Academy is designed for young adults between the ages of 16 and 20 who have participated in previous activities like Fairplay Workshops, the Girls Football Festival, or tournaments. This academy aims to:
- Deepen their understanding of relevant topics related to social inclusion, diversity, human rights, and fair play.
- Empower them to take an active role in upcoming project activities.
- Transform them into multipliers within their daily living environments, including schools, clubs, and leisure time activities.
