GOING PUBLIC
Sharing and Amplifying Our Message
Introduction:
Module 3 takes our mission public, reaching wider audiences and involving grassroots organizations, minority groups, and human rights activists. It’s about spreading the concepts of diversity, social inclusion, and human rights to stadiums, cities, and villages.
(a) SUSTAINABLE NETWORKS – Football Zajedno Conference and Networking Meetings, year 1-4
Bridging the Gap through Collaboration
Conference Objectives:
- The Football Zajedno Conference serves as a hub for anti-discrimination initiatives, minority organizations, human rights NGOs, football associations, and supporter groups actively working toward equality through football.
- Grassroots organizations are invited to contribute their input and ideas to further develop the overarching “Football Zajedno” program.
- Networking meetings take place in various partner countries, offering a flexible format for engaging in discussions on current project-related issues, such as diversity and refugees in football.
(b) REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT – Mini Van Tours (3 editions), year 2-4
Taking the Message to the Streets
Mini Van Tour Highlights:
- The Mini Van Tour takes the message of Football Zajedno directly to different villages and cities within our partner countries.
- At each venue, a visible inflatable street kick court is set up, creating a dynamic space for street soccer and music sessions.
- The tour combines sports activities with awareness-raising efforts, providing information about the project and utilizing the methods of our elaborated fair play workshops.
- The Mini Van Tour is an innovative and proven tool for fostering cross-community work in the region, breaking down barriers, and promoting understanding.
(c) SHOWING DIVERSITY – Start-Up Pool & Campaigning with Associations, Clubs & Grassroots, year 1-4
Mobilizing for Change
Campaigning for Diversity:
- Campaigning involves mobilizing various football stakeholders to take action and address various forms of discrimination while standing up for diversity and social inclusion.
- We leverage well-known campaigns like the European Week of Sport (EWoS) and the Football People Action Week, reaching a wide audience, including stadium spectators and the media.
Start-Up Pool:
- The Start-Up Pool empowers clubs and grassroots sports initiatives to initiate projects addressing social topics in their local environments.
- This initiative encourages local action and engagement, further amplifying the impact of Football Zajedno at the community level.
